The FHA invited all Vincentians to join us to accompany refugees, internally displaced people and human trafficking victims in their journey to a safe place. From 7th to 9th to June 2022, the FHA organises its second conference, online and in Seville (Spain), to learn new information, share experience and build global capacity.
Over the three days, we want to offer Vincentian branches accompanying these groups the chance to connect, foster initiatives within and beyond the Family and improving Vincentian services worldwide. Through key-note speeches, panels and workshops from experts and refugees and trafficked persons themselves, and visits to local Vincentian projects supporting these groups, we hope to inspire a community of Vincentian practitioners who can locally and globally better the situation of these vulnerable people through advocacy and concrete actions.
Although the main event will happen in person in Seville, hosted by the Daughters of Charity, many sessions will be live-streamed to offer everybody the chance to join in. If you are interested in participating in the in-person event, please contact fha.info@famvin.org and kindly include the following information: name, VF branch, country, language of communication and experience working in the following areas – refugees, internally displaced people and human trafficking. We kindly request a reply by 4 March 2022. If you wish to participate in the online sessions, register here:
