On September 22nd, in the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption, Campo Largo, Brazil, took place the encounter of the Vincentian Family to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Curitiba Province of the Congregation of the Mission.

The celebration was presided by Father Tomaz Mavric CM, Superior General of the Congregation of the Mission and President of the Executive Committee of the Vincentian Family, who encouraged the attendant to work together in the 13 Houses Campaign. Around 1500 members of the different branches attended the celebration: Congregation of the Mission, Daughters of Charity, AIC, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, Miraculous Medal Association, Vincentian Marian Youth and Misevi. There was also an important number of representatives from the 23 parishes attended by the CMs.

The closing mass was officiated by José Carlos Chacorowski CM, Bishop of Caraguatatuba. As a symbolic gesture, during the celebration members of the different branches of the Family carried 13 small houses and signed a commitment to work together as a Family in a project in Southern Brazil.

We pray to God, through the intercession of St. Vincent de Paul, blessings and graces.
