“Human Trafficking and Homelessness”

Webinar – 24th of November, 1:00 PM (GMT, London)

At the FHA Conference on refugees, displaced and trafficked persons, held in Seville, Spain this past June, participants listened to testimonies from trafficked persons and the Vincentian Family members who serve them. The FHA proposes this webinar, symbolically placed on the eve of the International Day to Eliminate Violence against Women, to put the spotlight on the global responses to human trafficking, and to examine the intersections with homelessness.

Sr. Winifred Doherty, from the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, has been the NGO representative to the United Nations for her congregation and its partners-in-mission since 2008. The webinar will be an opportunity to hear about her experience and insights on human trafficking and homelessness, and to explore ways in which you can act locally.

The webinar will be in English with French and Spanish interpretation.
