The upcoming conference on slum dwellers organized by the Famvin Homeless Alliance (FHA) is a timely and important event that will shed light on the global reality of slums and the challenges faced by millions of people who live in them. The conference will take place on 29-31 January 2024 at Adamson University in Manila, Philippines, under the theme: “Empowering Individuals & Communities: Vincentian Action in Slums”.

The conference will bring together experts and practitioners from varied sectors and regions to share their experiences, insights, and best practices on addressing slum dwelling as a form of homelessness. The conference will also showcase the work of the Vincentian Family in supporting slum dwellers in the Philippines through local and international organizations.

It will be an opportunity to learn from each other, exchange ideas, and collaborate for a more just and inclusive world.
